About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Executive to join our logistics team at the IGI Airport cargo terminal. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely handling of air freight. You will act as a critical link between ground staff, freight forwarders, and customs agents, ensuring all cargo movements comply with strict aviation security and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Cargo Handling & Coordination: Supervise the loading, unloading, and movement of inbound and outbound air cargo to ensure quick turnaround times.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate real-time inventory records using our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Documentation & Compliance: Verify Air Waybills (AWB), cargo manifests, and customs documentation. Ensure complete compliance with BCAS (Bureau of Civil Aviation Security) and DGCA regulations.
- Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, particularly regarding the handling of Dangerous Goods (DG), perishables, and high-value cargo.
- Team Supervision: Guide and monitor warehouse associates, forklift operators, and ground loaders to ensure operational efficiency and workplace safety.
- Issue Resolution: Promptly address and resolve any operational bottlenecks, damaged cargo reports, or shipping delays.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management. Prior experience in air freight or airport cargo operations is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word).
- Certifications: Basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods Regulation (DGR) or aviation security handling is a strong advantage.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-stress, 24/7 operational environment (rotational shifts may be required).
- Language: Fluency in English and Hindi (both written and spoken).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
