About the Role
We are looking for creative and passionate artists to join our team in Coimbatore for creating traditional Tanjore paintings and artistic jewellery-related artwork.
We welcome candidates from an artistic or artisan background who have strong creativity, patience, attention to detail, and an interest in learning and creating high-quality traditional artwork.
Tanjore Painting Artist – Intern / Fresher
Who can apply:
- Students or freshers with an art/design/painting background
- Candidates who have a strong interest in Tanjore painting
- Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Drawing, Painting or related course students
- Candidates with an artisan/craft background are highly preferred
- Basic knowledge of drawing, painting and colour combinations
- Willingness to learn traditional Tanjore painting techniques
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior artists in Tanjore painting work
- Learn traditional painting techniques and finishing
- Prepare sketches, colours and artwork
- Assist with jewellery, stones, gold foil and decorative elements
- Maintain quality and neatness in every artwork
- Develop new creative designs and concepts
Tanjore Painting Artist – Experienced
Experience: 1+ years preferred
Who we are looking for:
- Experienced Tanjore painting artists
- Traditional artists with strong craftsmanship
- Candidates with an artisan background and excellent creative skills
- Strong knowledge of Tanjore painting techniques
- Good understanding of colours, composition, detailing and finishing
- Ability to independently complete paintings from concept to final artwork
Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality Tanjore paintings
- Develop new and innovative artwork concepts
- Handle detailed painting, gold foil, stones and decorative work
- Maintain traditional artistic standards while experimenting with modern designs
- Work closely with the creative team
- Ensure quality, finishing and timely completion of artworks

- Artisan / handicraft / fine arts background is highly preferred
