Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Ethelbari, West Bengal
Job Responsibilities:
Production Supervision
- Supervise daily RMC production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
- Monitor batching operations and ensure production is carried out as per approved schedules.
- Ensure optimum utilization of plant capacity and resources.
- Coordinate production activities with the Operations Manager and Dispatch team.
- Monitor production efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.
Plant Operations
- Ensure smooth operation of batching plants and associated equipment.
- Supervise plant operators and production staff during shifts.
- Allocate work effectively and monitor workforce productivity.
- Ensure uninterrupted plant operations and minimize production delays.
Quality Control
- Ensure concrete is produced according to approved mix designs and quality specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for sampling and testing.
- Report quality deviations immediately and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Minimize production rejection and material wastage.
Welding & Fabrication Supervision
- Supervise welding and fabrication activities related to precast moulds, shutters, and steel structures.
- Ensure timely repair and maintenance of moulds to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinate with welders and fabricators for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Verify the quality of welding work and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Plan fabrication activities based on production schedules.
- Monitor the availability of welding consumables, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure safe work practices during welding and gas-cutting operations.
Skills Required
✔ Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes (MIG, Arc Welding, Gas Cutting, etc.)
✔ Experience in mould fabrication and maintenance
✔ Ability to supervise welders and fabrication teams
✔ Understanding of fabrication drawings and measurements
✔ Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance of production equipment
Qualification
- Experience in supervising welding and fabrication activities in an RMC, precast concrete, steel fabrication, or heavy manufacturing environment will be preferred.
- Diploma or B. Tech Gradudate (Civil).
- MS Excel knowledge is must.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
