Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Signage Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the Printing and Signage Industry, with expertise in signage fabrication, installation, vinyl application, and operation of signage production equipment. The candidate should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of delivering high-quality signage solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install indoor and outdoor signage.
- Operate and maintain signage production equipment, including vinyl cutters, CNC routers, laser machines, laminators, and large-format printers.
- Apply self-adhesive vinyl graphics, window films, wall graphics, vehicle graphics, and branding materials.
- Install ACP signage, acrylic signs, LED signboards, illuminated signs, channel letters, flex banners, and wayfinding signage.
- Read technical drawings, artwork, and installation plans accurately.
- Perform measurements, site surveys, and prepare materials before installation.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production and installation.
- Troubleshoot and repair damaged signage when required.
- Follow workplace safety procedures while working at heights and using power tools.
- Coordinate with the production and project teams to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
Requirements
- High School/Diploma/ITI or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Printing and Signage Industry
- Hands-on experience in signage fabrication and installation.
- Knowledge of large-format printing and finishing processes.
- Experience with vinyl application, lamination, mounting, and finishing.
- Familiarity with LED signage, ACP fabrication, acrylic fabrication, and channel letter installation.
- Ability to safely use power tools, hand tools, and installation equipment.
- Ability to read production drawings and installation layouts.
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when required.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations for installations.
Preferred Skills
- Experience operating large-format printers (Mimaki, Roland, HP, Epson, or similar).
- Knowledge of CNC router, laser cutting, and engraving machines.
- Basic electrical knowledge for LED signage installation.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience
