Role Description:
We are looking for skilled and experienced Soldering Technicians with hands-on expertise in electronic assembly and cable harness manufacturing. Candidates must possess strong practical knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards and demonstrate high-quality soldering workmanship with good productivity.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
- Knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 is mandatory.
- Minimum 1–4 years of relevant experience in soldering and cable/harness assembly.
- Good understanding of ESD practices, workmanship standards, and quality requirements.
Key Skills & Responsibilities:
- Perform precision soldering as per IPC standards.
- Hands-on experience in:
- D-Sub Connector Cup & Wire Soldering
- Lap Soldering (Shield to Wire and Wire to Wire)
- Pierced Terminal Soldering
- Cable and Wire Harness Assembly
- Inspect solder joints and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain production targets while ensuring workmanship quality.
- Follow work instructions, process documentation, and safety guidelines.
- Support rework and repair activities when required.
Key Performance Measures:
- Practical Soldering Evaluation
- Speed of Soldering
- Quality of Soldering Workmanship
- Knowledge of IPC standards and manufacturing processes.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics
- Relevant certification in IPC standards will be an added advantage.
Work Experience:
Minimum 1–4 years of relevant experience in soldering and cable/harness assembly.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
