Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Process Head – Production to lead the design, standardization, and optimization of production processes across the organization.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for building structured production systems that ensure efficiency, cost optimization, minimal wastage, and consistent quality standards.
The Process Head will work above the Production Head and NPD function, ensuring that all production activities are executed through well-defined processes, SOP-driven operations, and scalable systems that support the company’s operational growth.
The role requires a strong professional who can transform production operations into a streamlined, cost-efficient, and process-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production Process Strategy
* Lead the overall process architecture of the production department.
* Oversee the functioning of the Production Head and NPD team, ensuring smooth coordination between product development and large-scale production.
* Develop structured systems that enable efficient, scalable production operations.
Process Design & SOP Implementation
* Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all production activities.
* Establish clear workflows for production planning, batch management, and process consistency.
* Ensure strict adherence to process discipline across all production units.
Cost Management & Waste Reduction
* Drive initiatives focused on production cost optimization.
* Identify opportunities to reduce raw material wastage, production loss, and operational inefficiencies.
* Implement systems to improve yield, batch accuracy, and resource utilization.
Production Efficiency & Process Optimization
* Monitor and improve production productivity and operational efficiency.
* Introduce structured frameworks for process improvement and operational excellence.
* Ensure production processes support high-volume output without compromising quality.
Quality & Process Compliance
* Work closely with the quality team to ensure consistent product standards and food safety compliance.
* Establish systems for process monitoring, quality checks, and production consistency.
* Ensure production follows industry-standard hygiene and quality practices.
NPD to Production Transition
* Ensure seamless transfer of new product development into production-scale operations.
* Work closely with the NPD chef to standardize recipes, processes, and production methods.
Data Monitoring & Performance Metrics
* Track key production KPIs such as:
* Production cost per batch
* Wastage percentage
* Yield improvement
* Operational efficiency
* Provide leadership with insights and recommendations to improve production performance and profitability.
Leadership & Team Development
* Provide strategic direction to the Production Head and production teams.
* Build a culture of process ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the production department.
Candidate Profile
Experience
* 15 – 20 years of experience in production operations, process management, or manufacturing excellence.
* Experience in Food Processing, QSR brands, FMCG manufacturing, or Central Kitchen operations is highly preferred.
* Demonstrated expertise in SOP development, production optimization, and cost management.
Education
* Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Production, Industrial Engineering, or Operations.
* MBA in Operations or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
