Role Overview
We are looking for a result-oriented Director Sales – School Partnerships based in (city names) to lead business growth by building strategic relationships with schools and educational institutions. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end institutional sales, managing key stakeholder relationships, and closing high-value partnerships with schools across the assigned territory.
This is a field-focused role that requires regular meetings with school leaders, trustees, principals, and decision-makers to introduce BeyondSkool’s programs and create long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive institutional sales and own the complete partnership lifecycle from lead generation to final closure.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of 40+ prospective schools in the assigned territory.
- Conduct 15–20 in-person meetings, presentations, and demos every month with school decision-makers.
- Meet school principals, trustees, management teams, and decision-makers to present BeyondSkool offerings.
- Build strong relationships with schools and position BeyondSkool as a preferred learning partner.
- Negotiate commercials, finalize agreements, and close 3–5 new school partnerships per month based on sales cycle.
- Drive monthly / quarterly revenue targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Identify new market opportunities and expand BeyondSkool’s presence in Mumbai.
- Work closely with internal academic, operations, and customer success teams for seamless execution.
- Maintain sales pipeline, forecasts, and activity reports through CRM tools.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activity, and evolving school needs.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in B2B / Institutional Sales with strong closing experience.
- Prior experience in EdTech, education services, publishing and school-focused industries preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
- Strong network within schools or education institutions will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with field travel.
- Ability to build trust with senior leadership and decision-makers.
