Role Overview
As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will be part of consulting teams supporting government departments and public institutions across multiple policy domains. The role offers hands-on exposure to how policies are framed, approved, budgeted for, and implemented within government systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Policy Research Conduct policy reviews, regulatory analysis, and comparative research to support the formulation of policy notes, concept papers, and structured problem statements.
- Programme Design & Advisory Support Support design of government programmes, reform initiatives, and implementation frameworks aligned with departmental priorities and broader state objectives.
- Project Structuring & Monitoring Assist in preparing project charters, implementation roadmaps, review frameworks, and monitoring mechanisms for government initiatives.
- Institutional & Process Reforms Analyse governance structures, institutional arrangements, and administrative processes to identify gaps and propose practical reforms.
- Stakeholder & Inter-departmental Coordination Support coordination across multiple departments, agencies, and external stakeholders for cross-cutting government initiatives.
- Executive Communication Prepare concise presentations, briefing notes, and decision-support material for senior government stakeholders.
- Meetings & On-Ground Engagement Participate in discussions with government officials, departments, and public institutions; support consultations, reviews, and workshops.

Ideal Candidate Profile
We seek driven problem solvers with a strong interest in governance and public policy.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong academic background
- 0–2 years of experience for Associate roles; 2–5 years for Senior Associate roles
- Excellent research, analytical writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and take ownership of deliverables
- Comfort with policy research, data synthesis, and stakeholder interaction
- Prior exposure to government, consulting, public policy, or development sector is an advantage
- Knowledge of Gujarati is a plus (not mandatory)
