Role Overview
The Interior Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring smooth execution of interior projects, coordinating with contractors and vendors, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely project completion. This role requires strong supervision, planning, and coordination skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesSite Operations & Supervision
- Supervise daily on-site interior work and monitor project progress.
- Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, layouts, and design specifications.
- Coordinate with carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters, false ceiling teams, modular furniture teams, and other contractors.
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and discipline of site labor teams.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, vendors, and clients for seamless execution.
- Schedule and track work activities to ensure deadlines are achieved.
- Escalate delays, material shortages, or technical site issues to management promptly.
Quality Control
- Inspect workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Verify site measurements before fabrication and installation.
- Ensure finishing and handover quality meets company and client expectations.
Material & Inventory Management
- Monitor material availability at site.
- Coordinate deliveries from vendors and suppliers.
- Prevent material wastage and maintain material usage records.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safety standards and site protocols are followed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.
- Ensure proper usage of tools, machines, and equipment.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily progress reports with site updates.
- Share site status, challenges, and completion timelines with management.
- Maintain documentation related to approvals, measurements, and work completion.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in interior site supervision, construction execution, fit-out projects, or related work.
- Practical understanding of site execution, drawings, measurements, and contractor coordination is preferred.
