Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to support the day-to-day infrastructure operations and project activities for Mizuho Bank's financial systems (primarily M-FAST). The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Windows and Linux server administration, VMware virtualization, production support, incident management, and infrastructure maintenance within mission-critical environments. Experience in banking or financial services will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily infrastructure operations (BAU support) for production environments.
- Monitor servers, applications, and infrastructure to ensure high availability.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and coordinate infrastructure incidents within SLA timelines.
- Build, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
- Execute server patching, upgrades, maintenance activities, and change requests.
- Support infrastructure deployment and environment setup for new projects.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, audit requirements, and infrastructure standards.
- Collaborate with client teams, vendors, and internal NEC teams for infrastructure support.
- Participate in on-call production support whenever required.

Experience Required
- 5–8 years of experience in Infrastructure/System Engineering.
- Hands-on experience supporting Windows and Linux production environments.
- Experience in VMware virtualization and enterprise infrastructure management.
- Exposure to banking or financial services environments is preferred.
- Experience supporting payment systems will be an added advantage.
- Comfortable working in customer-facing managed services or insourcing environments.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
