Job Summary
Emergency Medicine Doctors are responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients with acute illnesses, trauma, or life-threatening conditions. They ensure rapid assessment, stabilization, and managementof patients in the emergency department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform triage and initial assessment of patients
- Manage medical emergencies
- Perform life-saving procedures
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure proper documentation
- Stabilize patients and arrange admission or referral
- Handle mass casualty situations and disaster management
- Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols
