We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Nursing Superintendent to support the Nursing Superintendent in managing nursing operations, maintaining high standards of patient care, and ensuring smooth functioning of the nursing department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursing Superintendent in managing day-to-day nursing operations.
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff across wards, ICU, OT, emergency, and other clinical areas.
- Ensure adequate staffing and proper allocation of nursing duties and shifts.
- Monitor nursing care and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and quality nursing care.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing practices across departments.
- Support recruitment, orientation, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff.
- Prepare and monitor duty rosters, attendance, leave, and staff deployment.
- Address nursing staff and patient-related concerns and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Ensure proper documentation, nursing records, and reporting are maintained.
- Coordinate with doctors, hospital administration, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Assist in implementing quality improvement and accreditation standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable hospital, nursing, and regulatory guidelines.
- Handle emergencies and support effective coordination during critical situations.
Eligibility
- B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Previous experience as Nursing Supervisor / Nursing In-charge / Assistant Nursing Superintendent will be preferred.
Pay: ₹20,188.61 - ₹32,537.12 per month
