Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ abilities and craft teaching plans
- Adapt learning materials to students’ need
- Monitor children’s behavioral patterns and arrange appropriate interventions if needed
- Manage classroom crises and resolve conflict
- Prepare students for transition to the next grade
- Inform parents about their children’s performance and potential problems
- Coach/mentor other professionals who work with children with disabilities
Requirements and skills:
- Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
- A patient, resourceful, and resilient personality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualification :
- Graduate with B.Ed. (Special Education)
- B.Ed General with Diploma in Special Education
- B.Ed with PGPD
- B.Ed (Special Education) with PGPC in Special Education
- PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation/Multiple Disability/Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy)
- Secondary Level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment
- Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf
- BA B.Ed in Visual Impairment
- Another Qualification approved by RCI
Salary : Rs. 20K-25K per month
