Job Overview
The Poise Hub is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging Finance Educator to help children and young teenagers develop strong financial literacy and money management skills. This role involves conducting interactive virtual sessions that introduce learners to essential financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, spending wisely, entrepreneurship, banking, and responsible decision-making. Candidates with backgrounds in finance, commerce, economics, education, entrepreneurship, or financial literacy training are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach age-appropriate financial literacy and money management concepts
- Design and deliver engaging sessions through activities, simulations, games, case studies, discussions, and real-life examples
- Encourage critical thinking and informed decision-making among young learners
- Simplify financial concepts into easy-to-understand lessons suitable for teenagers
- Create interactive learning experiences that make finance practical, relevant, and enjoyable
- Adapt teaching methods based on learners' age, understanding level, and learning style
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback when required
- Foster curiosity, responsibility, and confidence in young learners
- Create and maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive virtual learning environment
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of financial literacy and money management concepts
- Ability to explain concepts in a simple, engaging, and age-appropriate manner
- Creative and interactive teaching approach
- Passion for educating and mentoring young learners
- Strong classroom engagement and virtual teaching skills
- Ability to connect learning concepts to real-life situations relevant to teenagers
- Basic familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools
- Qualifications or experience in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Education, or Financial Literacy Training will be an added advantage
