Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook continental dishes as per standardized recipes and portion specifications.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Prepare ingredients, including cutting, marinating, seasoning, and portioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation before, during, and after service.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Monitor food quality and report any issues to the senior chef.
- Minimize food wastage through proper storage and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Assist in receiving, storing, and maintaining kitchen inventory.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is handled safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely food delivery.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of experience as a Commis I
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, and kitchen operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong culinary and knife skills.
- Knowledge of continental cooking techniques and plating.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
