We are looking for a Technical Writer who can translate complex software concepts into clear, structured documentation. The ideal candidate must have a genuine technical understanding of how software works and communicates ideas with precision and simplicity.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, English, or Communications.
- 1-3 years of experience in technical writing for software products.
- Solid understanding of software concepts — applications, APIs, databases, and SDLC.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specs, flowcharts, and basic code.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (Scribe, Notion, GitBook, or similar).
- Strong command of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written communication skills in English — clarity and accuracy are essential.
- Familiarity with Markdown, Git, or API documentation tools (Swagger / Postman).
- Experience in an Agile / Scrum environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Write software user manuals, process documents, and module-level Q&As.
- Work hands-on with software systems to understand what is being documented.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to gather and validate technical information.
- Maintain a documentation repository — keeping content accurate and version-controlled.
- Create presentations and visual aids/short videos to explain technical concepts for varied audiences.
- Participate in sprint reviews and product demos to stay current with changes.
Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
