Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Interior Designer with 2–3 years of experience in residential, commercial, or corporate interiors. The ideal candidate should combine strong conceptual design abilities with expertise in AutoCAD and technical drawings, including detailing for modular wardrobes, kitchens, and loose furniture. This role requires end-to-end involvement from design conceptualization to production-ready drawings and on-site coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept designs, space planning, and 3D visualizations for client presentations.
- Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for modular wardrobes, kitchens, furniture, and complete interior layouts.
- Translate concept sketches and site measurements into production-ready shop drawings.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, colors, lighting, and furniture aligned with design concepts.
- Ensure accuracy in detailing of furniture joinery, hardware fittings, and finishes.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and production teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely project execution.
- Revise and update drawings based on client feedback and site requirements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor design implementation and resolve design/technical issues.
- Maintain drawing documentation, mood boards, and BOQs as per company standards.
- Stay updated on interior design trends, materials, and technologies.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D mandatory; 3D preferred) and knowledge of SketchUp/3ds Max/V-Ray/Photoshop.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles, modular furniture construction, material specifications, and finishes.
- Good understanding of furniture joinery and hardware fittings.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior plans.
- Strong visualization, creativity, and presentation skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Interior Design.
- 2–3 years of relevant work experience in interior design (Residential Furniture, not civil construction).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
