Job opportunity - Creative Content Strategist
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 2–5 years
Function: Branding & Content
About the role
We’re looking for a Creative Content Strategist who can turn brand requirements, consumer insights and business objectives into strong, distinctive content. You should naturally think in ideas. Given a brief, you should be able to define the idea, why it will work, the right format, how it should look and sound, and what the team needs to do to bring it to life. You don’t need to be a traditional copywriter, designer or editor. You do need a strong understanding of content, storytelling, visual communication and what makes people stop, watch, read and remember.
What you’ll do
● Turn briefs into ideas: Develop concepts, hooks and narratives across brand building, education, entertainment, emotion and product communication. Find interesting ways to make complex or technical subjects engaging.
● Take ideas from concept to execution: Decide the right format — Reel, film, carousel, static, animation, etc. — and define the visual treatment, story, shoot requirements, copy and editing direction.
● Brief and direct creative teams: Create clear briefs and work closely with designers, editors, cinematographers and other creative partners to take an idea from concept to finished output.
● Write and shape the story: Develop or guide headlines, hooks, scripts, VO, supers, captions and CTAs. Know when a story needs more explanation and when fewer words will make it stronger.
● Build and improve content: Identify opportunities for recurring content formats and series. Review creative work, give specific feedback, push beyond the first obvious idea and ensure the final execution delivers on the original thought.
● Protect and strengthen the brand: Translate brand strategy and personality into everyday content while balancing creativity with the need to be honest, credible and easy to understand. Challenge briefs when there’s an opportunity to make the work significantly better.
What we’re looking for
● 4–5 years of experience in content, creative, advertising, brand or digital marketing.
● Someone who thinks in ideas, not just posts.
● Strong understanding of social-first content, storytelling and visual communication.
● Comfortable moving between strategy, concept and execution.
● Good visual sense, with the ability to articulate what something should look, sound and feel like.
● Understands video, editing and design well enough to direct these disciplines, even if you don’t personally execute them.
● Can write clear, sharp copy and scripts.
● Curious about consumers and understands why people engage with content.
● Can simplify complex subjects into interesting stories.
● Comfortable giving creative feedback and managing multiple projects without compromising the quality of the thinking. You don’t need to be a traditional copywriter, graphic designer, video editor or social media manager. You should understand these disciplines well enough to bring them together into strong creative work.
