About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Cost Estimator with experience in Door & Hardware Estimation (Division 8 & 10). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction drawings, project specifications, and cost estimation processes. You will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting the pre-construction team in delivering competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Division 8 & 10 (Doors, Frames, Hardware, and related products).
- Analyze project scope and identify estimation requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- Coordinate with internal teams regarding ongoing and new projects.
- Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Maintain estimation records and documentation.
- Support bid preparation and pricing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in Door & Hardware Estimation (Division 8 & 10).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and estimation techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with quantity take-offs and cost analysis.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
