Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Manager to lead and manage dispatch operations for a reputed laminates/sunmica manufacturing company in Bhiwadi. The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, warehouse operations, and transportation management within the laminates, plywood, decorative surfaces, or building materials industry. Experience in BRC (Business Resource Center/Business Reporting & Coordination, as applicable within the organization) is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and monitor daily dispatch activities to ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
- Coordinate with production, planning, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams for smooth dispatch operations.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documentation including invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, LR copies, and transporter documents.
- Ensure optimum vehicle utilization and route planning to minimize transportation costs.
- Monitor dispatch schedules and ensure on-time deliveries as per customer commitments.
- Manage relationships with transporters and logistics service providers.
- Ensure accurate inventory movement and stock reconciliation with the warehouse team.
- Maintain dispatch MIS reports and update BRC reports on a regular basis.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
- Handle customer dispatch queries and resolve logistics-related issues promptly.
- Lead, train, and supervise the dispatch and warehouse team.
- Coordinate with finance for billing and payment-related dispatch documentation.
- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance dispatch efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of dispatch operations in the laminates/sunmica manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on experience with BRC and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Knowledge of GST documentation, e-way bills, invoicing, and logistics compliance.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MIS reporting.
