We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operational Cum Production Manager to oversee and manage daily operations, ensuring alignment with production targets and efficient resource utilization. This role involves close coordination with multiple departments, the ability to optimize processes, and a focus on continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed operational goals.
- Plan and execute daily packaging activities as per confirmed orders and production requirements.
- Monitor the complete packaging process to ensure there are no unnecessary delays or production gaps.
- Ensure proper batch, date coding, labeling, sealing, and packing of products.
- Arrange and issue packaging materials as per order requirements and approved BOM/packing specifications.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Production, and Planning teams for timely availability of materials.
- Review customer orders and packaging requirements before starting the job.
- Plan and allocate manpower according to daily packaging requirements.
- Supervise packing staff and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
- Ensure packaging is carried out according to approved quality standards and SOPs.
- Check packaging quality, sealing, labeling, coding, weight, and overall presentation.
- Prevent mix-ups, wrong labels, wrong SKUs, and incorrect quantities.
- Ensure proper hygiene and housekeeping in the packaging area.
- Report quality issues, damages, shortages, or deviations immediately to the concerned department.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification of packaging materials.
- Provide daily updates on packaging status, pending orders, material shortages, manpower requirements, and dispatch readiness.
- Escalate operational issues immediately to management.
Requiremernt
Graduate/Diploma in Operations, Production, Supply Chain, or related field.
4–8 years of experience in packaging, FMCG, food, dry fruits, snacks, or similar manufacturing operations.
Strong manpower handling and team management skills.
Good knowledge of packaging processes and material management.
Ability to manage multiple SKUs and urgent orders.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
