We are a leading social event photography studio based in Mumbai, known for capturing weddings, celebrations, and special occasions. We're looking for a dedicated photographer's assistant to join our growing team.
Role Overview
We're seeking a committed, hardworking individual to assist our lead photographers during social events. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn the craft of photography, with a clear growth path into a full photographer role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the lead photographer with equipment setup, handling, and maintenance before, during, and after events
- Carry and manage camera gear, lighting equipment, and accessories at event locations
- Support the photographer during shoots by managing angles, lighting, and crowd coordination
- Be available and punctual as per event schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Assist with basic photo organization, backup, and file management post-event
- Learn photography techniques, composition, and equipment handling under guidance
- Maintain and care for equipment to ensure it's shoot-ready at all times
- Coordinate with clients and venue staff professionally when required
Requirements
- Willingness to work flexible hours based on event schedules (including weekends/evenings)
- Strong eagerness to learn photography with a growth mindset
- Physically fit and able to stand/move for extended periods during events
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctual, reliable, and disciplined
- No smoking or drinking habits
- No medical conditions that could affect job performance or event duty availability
- Prior photography interest or basic camera knowledge is a plus (not mandatory)
- Two-wheeler/ability to travel across Mumbai for events preferred
Pay: ₹10,000.00 per month
