Job Summary
The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily workshop operations, ensuring efficient job allocation, maintaining quality standards, monitoring technician productivity, and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. The role ensures smooth workflow, adherence to safety standards, and timely vehicle delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day workshop activities and ensure smooth service operations.
- Allocate repair and maintenance jobs to technicians based on skill and workload.
- Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and compliance with 5S standards.
- Ensure all repairs are performed according to manufacturer guidelines and company SOPs.
- Conduct quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors regarding repair status, additional work approval, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of tools, equipment, and workshop resources.
- Monitor technician attendance, productivity, and efficiency.
- Identify training needs and provide on-the-job guidance to technicians.
- Ensure workplace safety by enforcing EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.
- Handle customer complaints related to workshop operations and support quick resolution.
- Prepare daily workshop performance reports and maintain service records.
- Coordinate with the Spare Parts department to ensure timely availability of parts.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in an automobile workshop/service center.
- Previous experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Team Leader, or Floor Supervisor is preferred.

Working Conditions
- Work Location: Automobile Workshop / Service Centre
- Working Hours: As per company policy, with flexibility during peak workload.
- May require standing for long periods and supervising workshop activities throughout the day.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
