**Duty Manager – Roles & Responsibilities** for a cinema (2Years)
* Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the cinema during assigned shifts. * Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally. * Supervise front office, box office, F&B, housekeeping, security, and technical teams. * Monitor employee attendance, grooming, discipline, and shift allocation. * Ensure all movie shows start on time and operations run smoothly. * Oversee ticketing, concessions, and cash handling procedures. * Monitor daily sales and prepare shift reports. * Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of all cinema areas. * Conduct regular facility inspections and identify maintenance issues. * Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and statutory regulations. * Maintain fire safety systems and ensure emergency procedures are followed. * Coordinate with projection and technical teams to avoid show interruptions. * Monitor inventory of food, beverages, and consumables to prevent stock shortages. * Train, motivate, and evaluate team members to improve performance. * Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure guest satisfaction. * Coordinate with vendors and support departments for operational requirements. * Ensure all equipment, POS systems, and facilities are functioning properly. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for management. * Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development activities. * Achieve operational KPIs such as guest satisfaction, revenue targets, and cost control. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations. * Lead the team during emergencies and ensure business continuity. * Promote teamwork, productivity, and a positive work environment. ### Key Skills Required * Leadership and team management * Customer service excellence * Communication and interpersonal skills * Problem-solving and decision-making * Cash handling and reporting * Time management * Conflict resolution * Operational planning and execution * Knowledge of safety and compliance * Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and POS systems.
