Job Summary
Riskbirbal Insurance Broker Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Claims Servicing Coordinator Intern to support the Claims Department in monitoring claim cases, tracking pending activities, maintaining MIS reports, and ensuring timely follow-ups with internal teams and insurance companies. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, advanced Excel knowledge, reporting expertise, and the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Monitor and track all ongoing claim cases, claim intimations, documentation, approvals, settlements, and claim servicing activities.
· Maintain a centralized tracker of all assigned claim cases and ensure accurate daily updates.
· Record pending tasks of each team member and monitor the ageing of pending claim cases.
· Follow up with team members, insurance companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely claim processing and resolution.
· Monitor claim turnaround time (TAT) and identify delayed or overdue cases for timely escalation.
· Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and claim status reports for management.
· Coordinate with insurers, surveyors, customers, Sales, and Operations teams to obtain updates on pending claims.
· Escalate delayed claim settlements, missing documentation, and unresolved cases to the Reporting Manager.
· Analyze claim processing trends, pending cases, and team productivity to identify process improvement opportunities.
· Maintain proper documentation of claim records, follow-up logs, meeting minutes, and action trackers.
· Assist in improving reporting and operational efficiency by using AI tools and automation.
· Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and timely submission of all departmental reports.
· Perform any additional coordination or administrative responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
· Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in BBA, B.Com, BCA, MBA, or any related field.
· Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF formulas, Conditional Formatting, Power Query (preferred), and Dashboard creation.
· Good understanding of MIS reporting and data analysis.
· Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar productivity tools.
· Quick learner with excellent organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Basic understanding of insurance claims processes will be an added advantage.
