About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, socially aware and digitally skilled individual who can manage our social-media and digital-marketing activities while also supporting regular business operations and equity data analyst.
The selected candidate should be capable of independently performing all routine operational tasks while taking greater responsibility for content planning, social-media management, digital growth and brand communication.
The candidate must understand how different social-media platforms work, what type of content performs on each platform and how to use data, creativity and current trends to improve reach and engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
Social Media and Digital Marketing
- Manage the company’s presence on Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X and other relevant platforms
- Plan and maintain weekly and monthly content calendars
- Develop content ideas for reels, posts, carousels, blogs and videos
- Write captions, headlines, descriptions and calls to action
- Understand platform algorithms, audience behaviour and content-distribution practices
- Monitor reach, engagement, followers, watch time, clicks and other performance indicators
- Analyse underperforming content and recommend practical improvements
- Stay updated with social-media trends, digital tools and relevant current developments
- Assist with lead-generation campaigns and audience-building activities
- Support basic SEO, keyword research and website-content activities
- Understand the fundamentals of Meta Ads and other digital-advertising platforms
- Coordinate content creation, approval, scheduling and publishing
- Maintain consistency in the company’s branding and communication
- Ensure that financial content follows the firm’s internal compliance guidelines
Content and Design
- Create professional social-media posts and presentations using Canva
- Use ChatGPT effectively for research, ideation, drafting and content improvement
- Convert financial topics into simple and engaging content
- Assist in preparing reels, video scripts, thumbnails and blog content
- Perform basic image and video editing
- Repurpose one piece of content for multiple social-media platforms
- Maintain organised folders for creatives, videos, reports and published content
Business Operations
- Create and manage Excel trackers, reports, databases and MIS sheets
- Conduct online research and verify information from credible sources
- Manage routine administrative and digital tasks
- Coordinate with team members and external service providers
- Maintain records of ongoing campaigns, enquiries and business activities
- Identify problems and independently suggest practical solutions
- Learn and use new software or online tools when required
Equity Analysis Support
- Helps in Equity research data analysis
- Research Report Preparation
- Equity Research Analysis
Required Skills
- Strong practical understanding of social media and digital marketing
- Good knowledge of Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Ability to understand content trends and audience behaviour
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Good working knowledge of Canva
- Practical and responsible use of ChatGPT
- Basic content-writing and communication skills
- Basic to moderate written and spoken English
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Basic understanding of stocks, mutual funds and financial markets
- Awareness of current affairs, business developments and social trends
- Strong common sense, logical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Professional behaviour and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must own a functional laptop
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate in marketing, commerce, finance, management, mass communication or a related field
- Previous experience managing business social-media accounts is preferred
- Candidates with their own portfolio, pages, campaigns or content samples will receive preference
- Freshers may apply if they can demonstrate strong practical skills
- Basic knowledge of video-editing tools will be an advantage
- Interest in financial markets and investor education will be preferred
