Job Title: Procurement Executive

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Executive to manage the sourcing and procurement of materials, components, and services. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement, negotiate with vendors, maintain supplier relationships, and support inventory planning while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery performance.
Responsibilities and Ownership:
- Source and procure materials, products, and services as per business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely order processing and follow-up.
- Track purchase orders and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Warehouse, Finance, and Quality for procurement planning.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and quality standards.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, contracts, and documentation.
- Resolve vendor-related issues regarding quality, pricing, or delivery delays.
- Analyze procurement data and prepare periodic MIS reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Procurement systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Good coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in the furniture, manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce industry will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
