Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Art & Craft Content Developer to design innovative, engaging, and age-appropriate art and craft activities for Pre-Primary to Grade 8 educational books. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Fine Arts, Art & Craft, or a related creative field and possess excellent artistic and conceptual skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop original art and craft activities, projects, and creative exercises for school textbooks and workbooks.
- Design age-appropriate, easy-to-follow art and craft concepts for students from Pre-Primary to Grade 8.
- Create step-by-step activity instructions with learning objectives.
- Research and develop innovative, curriculum-aligned creative content.
- Work closely with editors, illustrators, and designers during book development.
- Ensure all activities are safe, practical, and use easily available materials.
- Review and update content based on feedback and curriculum requirements.
- Maintain originality, creativity, and educational value in all content.
Required Skills
- Strong drawing, sketching, painting, and craft-making skills.
- Excellent creativity and visual imagination.
- Knowledge of various art techniques and craft materials.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities for children.
- Good written communication and documentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or Canva will be an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts (BFA/MFA), Applied Arts, Art & Craft, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Art & Craft is also acceptable.
- B.Ed. will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 1–5 years of experience in educational publishing, curriculum development, or art and craft content creation.
- Experience in creating content for school books, activity books, worksheets, or children's learning materials is preferred.
