We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician – Solar Projects with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Solar Rooftop and Ground-Mounted Solar Projects.
The role involves DC and LT electrical installation, cable laying and termination, inverter installation and commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and solar plant O&M activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical installation work for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Perform DC/AC cable laying, dressing, glanding, and termination.
- Install and maintain cable trays, junction boxes, combiner boxes, LT panels, inverters, and related equipment.
- Conduct IR, continuity, polarity, and earth resistance testing.
- Support solar PV system and inverter testing and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot DC systems, inverters, LT panels, cables, and other electrical equipment.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure plant uptime.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, SLDs, and layouts.
- Maintain daily work reports, testing records, checklists, and maintenance documentation.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures and PPE requirements at project sites.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar Rooftop and Ground-Mounted Solar Projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in DC & LT electrical works.
- Experience with solar inverter installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Megger, and Earth Tester.
- ITI Electrician/Wireman or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- C&I Solar project experience will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project locations and work in person at solar project sites.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹27,000 per month
