Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Wireman – LV Switchgear to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Low Voltage (LV) switchgear and control panel assemblies. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical drawings, a commitment to safety, and the flexibility to support both workshop and site-based projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematic diagrams for the installation, commissioning, and repair of LV switchgear panels.
- Install, wire, service, troubleshoot, and maintain Low Voltage (LV) switchgear and control gear assemblies.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, and functional verification to ensure reliable system performance.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable electrical standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with project engineers, supervisors, and team members during installation, commissioning, and modification projects.
- Provide technical assistance and support to electricians and other field personnel as required.
- Carry out outdoor installation, maintenance, and modification work at customer sites when assigned.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by management to support project execution and operational requirements.
- Be willing to work overtime on weekdays, weekends, or public holidays as required. Overtime will be compensated in accordance with company policy.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma in Electrical or a BE Electrical
- Experience in LV switchgear, control panels, MCCs, PCCs, or electrical panel wiring is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Good troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per month
