We're Hiring: Project Manager – Construction (Military Engineering Services Projects)
Location: Bhopal

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage Military Engineering Services (MES) and Defence Infrastructure projects (Mandatory). The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in planning, execution, contract management, quality control, and timely delivery of large-scale government construction projects while ensuring compliance with MES specifications and defence engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and successfully deliver defence infrastructure projects from inception to completion
- Hands-on experience in the construction of the following: barracks, hospitals, garrison buildings, laboratories, residential complexes, or other military infrastructure.
- Prepare project execution plans, work schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Supervise contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure timely project execution
- Ensure compliance with MES specifications, approved drawings, statutory regulations, and quality standards
- Implement quality assurance procedures and enforce site safety practices throughout project execution
- Monitor project costs, verify contractor bills, and maintain budget and cost control
- Coordinate procurement and deployment of materials, machinery, and manpower
- Identify project risks, resolve execution challenges, and implement corrective measures to minimize delays
- Liaise with Army, Navy, Air Force authorities, consultants, contractors, and senior MES officials
- Prepare project progress reports, technical documentation, MIS reports, and management updates
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering
- M.Tech in Civil Engineering and PMP Certification will be an added advantage
- 10–15 years of experience in Project Management for Building or Infrastructure Construction Projects
- Experience in Military Engineering Services (MES), Defence, CPWD, PWD, or similar Government Infrastructure Projects will be preferred
- Strong knowledge of EPC project execution, contract administration, budgeting, and construction methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance for defence establishments will be preferred
