Job Title: Production Manager
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, manage raw material stock, supervise tailors, and ensure efficient workflow. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel skills, excellent people management abilities, and experience in handling production documentation and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
1.Stitching Unit Management & Tailor Efficiency Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the stitching unit to ensure smooth workflow
- Monitor tailor productivity and achieve maximum line efficiency
- Allocate stitching tasks based on tailor skill levels and production priorities
- Reduce idle time, bottlenecks, and production delays on the floor
- Ensure proper machine utilization and workflow balancing
- Train and guide tailors to improve stitching speed and quality
- Monitor individual tailor performance and maintain productivity records
- Implement methods to reduce alterations, rework, and stitching defects
- Ensure timely completion of stitching targets without compromising quality
- Coordinate with cutting, finishing, and quality teams for smooth production flow
- Maintain discipline, attendance, and work efficiency within the stitching unit
- Identify process improvements to increase output and minimize wastage
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of stitching machines and tools
- Create efficient production layouts and work allocation systems for higher productivity
2. Sourcing Responsibilities
- Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and production materials from reliable vendors
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, pricing, and timely deliveries
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Compare vendor rates and negotiate cost-effective pricing
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for sourced materials
- Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing opportunities
- Track material availability to avoid production delays
3. Quality Control Responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality checks during cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing stages
- Ensure garments meet company quality standards before dispatch
- Identify defects, alterations, and production inconsistencies
- Reduce rejection rates and maintain minimum production defects
- Coordinate with tailors and finishing team to improve product quality
- Maintain quality inspection reports and defect tracking records
- Ensure proper measurements, fitting, stitching accuracy, and finishing standards
- Implement corrective actions to avoid repeated quality issues
- Monitor fabric handling and workmanship standards during production
- Ensure final products match approved samples/specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Apparel Production, Textile Design, or related field (preferred).
- 5–12 years of experience in apparel production supervision.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (reports, basic formulas, data tracking).
- Good understanding of garment construction and production processes.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
