Job Summary
The Yatra Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the smooth execution of spiritual tours. The role involves supporting pilgrims throughout the journey, coordinating with internal teams and vendors, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring a seamless travel experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. On-Yatra Responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities during the Yatra.
- Ensure smooth travel, accommodation, and meal arrangements.
- Assist pilgrims throughout the journey and address their concerns.
- Coordinate with transport providers, hotels, and local vendors.
- Ensure the itinerary is followed as planned.
2. Communication & Coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact for pilgrims during the Yatra.
- Communicate tour schedules, updates, and any changes to participants.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
3. Administrative Duties
- Maintain participant records and travel documents.
- Prepare and submit daily expense and activity reports.
- Handle basic cash management and maintain expense records.
- Support documentation related to the Yatra.
4. Post-Yatra Responsibilities
- Collect feedback from pilgrims.
- Prepare and submit the Yatra completion report.
- Reconcile expenses and submit supporting documents.
- Assist in closing all operational and administrative activities after the tour.
Skills Required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is preferred.
- Ability to manage budgets and handle basic accounts.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
