JD - DevOps Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, automation, security, monitoring, and deployment management.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in AWS and DigitalOcean, experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, and a good understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.
This role will also involve direct client communication, so strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS and DigitalOcean.
- Manage and automate infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Manage production and development environments and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment and orchestration.
- Implement cloud and application security best practices, including access control, IAM, network security, secrets management, and server hardening.
- Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting systems.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively identify and resolve production issues.
- Maintain proper technical documentation for infrastructure, deployments, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and project management teams to improve deployment and release processes.
- Participate in production support, incident management, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
- Communicate directly with clients to understand technical requirements, provide updates, troubleshoot issues, and explain infrastructure-related decisions.
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of professional DevOps / Cloud Engineering experience.
- Excellent hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Strong experience with DigitalOcean infrastructure and services.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Good experience creating and managing AWS CloudFormation templates.
- Strong practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of cloud and infrastructure security.
- Experience with logging, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of Linux servers, networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Good technical documentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and participating in client meetings.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with Kubernetes on managed cloud platforms such as EKS, AKS, or GKE.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar platforms.
- Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
