Job Description – Water Consultant
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience : 5-7 years’ experienceSalary range : 10 lpa
Days: 5 Days (10 to 7pm)
Role Summary: The Water Consultant will provide technical expertise in water resource management, hydrology, and environmental compliance. With 5–7 years of experience, the role requires delivering sustainable solutions, managing projects, and advising clients on regulatory and climate resilience strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct water resource assessments, groundwater/surface water studies, and water balance analyses.
- Develop and calibrate hydrologic/hydraulic models (HEC-RAS, SWMM, MODFLOW, SWAT).
- Lead field investigations including aquifer tests, borehole logging, and water quality monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and regulatory submissions (permits, EIAs).
- Manage water/wastewater infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
- Advise clients on compliance with abstraction/discharge consents and floodplain regulations.
- Deliver stakeholder presentations and support climate adaptation planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/master’s in environmental engineering, Hydrology, Civil Engineering (water focus), or related field.
- 5–7 years of consulting or engineering experience in water resources.
- Proficiency in GIS, data analysis, and hydraulic/hydrologic modelling tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Must be fluent in English & Marathi.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
