Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Urban Planner to join our team in Guwahati. The selected candidate will be involved in urban planning, master planning, GIS-based studies, infrastructure planning, data analysis, report preparation, and coordination with various stakeholders for government and consultancy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of Master Plans, Development Plans, Regional Plans, and Local Area Plans.
- Conduct field surveys, land use assessments, and data collection activities.
- Analyze demographic, socio-economic, environmental, and spatial datasets.Prepare technical reports, DPRs, presentations, and project documentation.
- Support GIS mapping, spatial analysis, and urban development studies.Coordinate with government departments, local authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Assist in urban infrastructure, mobility, housing, and smart city-related projects.
- Participate in stakeholder consultations, workshops, and public meetings.Ensure compliance with planning regulations, development control norms, and government guidelines.
- Support project execution, monitoring, and timely delivery of assigned tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience : 1- 3 Yearsrelevant experience in urban planning, master planning, GIS-based planning, or infrastructure planning projects.
- Degree in Urban Planning / Architecture or related field
- Strong knowledge of planning regulations
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
