Responsibilities & Expectations
Prepare and bake pastries, breads, cakes, and desserts as per standard recipes.
Assist in daily pastry and bakery production under senior chefs’ guidance.
Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards (FSSAI).
Follow kitchen SOPs, FIFO, proper storage, and labeling procedures.
Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or spoilage.
Minimize wastage through proper portion control and handling.
Support basic training of junior staff when required.
Perform duties assigned by the Pastry Chef or senior team members.
Eligibility -
* BHM/B.A or Diploma in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management, Worked at least 2-3 years experience / Key position in the Kitchen with a brand restaurant chain or Hotel.
* Communication must be excellent should be good in guest handling, conversation if required, Innovative, knowledge of menu planning and overall Menu Costing, team building and handling.
