Job Description - Assistant Product Manager
Position Summary
The Assistant Product Manager will be responsible for developing in-depth technical knowledge of the company's products and supporting the Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams. The role involves serving as a product expert, assisting in customer engagement, creating technical and marketing content, and helping drive business growth through effective product positioning and market support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, technologies, applications, and principal partners.
- Provide technical and product support to the Sales team during customer discussions, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Assist the Marketing team in preparing brochures, presentations, application notes, product videos, website content, and promotional materials.
- Support Business Development activities by identifying market opportunities, researching customer requirements, and generating qualified leads.
- Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and product benchmarking.
- Coordinate with principals and internal teams to obtain technical information, product updates, and marketing resources.
- Prepare product training materials and conduct internal product training sessions for employees.
- Support product launches, roadshows, webinars, workshops, exhibitions, and customer meetings.
- Maintain product documentation, technical databases, and knowledge repositories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product positioning and customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly understand scientific or engineering products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with CRM or marketing tools is an advantage.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- 0-3 years of experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, Scientific Marketing, Application Support, or Business Development.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
