Job Summary : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Chemist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in laboratory experiments, chemical analysis, synthesis, and documentation while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates and early-career professionals to gain hands-on experience in a professional laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory testing, chemical analysis, and experiments as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Assist in organic synthesis, sample preparation, purification, and characterization of compounds
- Record experimental observations, results, and maintain accurate laboratory documentation.
- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare reagents, solutions, and laboratory chemicals as required.
- Support Research & Development, Quality Control, or Production teams in dayto-day laboratory activities.
- Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), safety guidelines, and company quality standards.
- Assist in troubleshooting laboratory processes and reporting deviations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of chemicals and laboratory materials.
- Participate in inventory management of laboratory consumables and chemicals.
- Collaborate with senior chemists and cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects within timelines
- Required Skills : Basic knowledge of Organic Chemistry concepts and laboratory techniques.
- Familiarity with common laboratory instruments such as:
- o HPLC (preferred)
- o GC (preferred)
- o UV-Visible Spectrophotometer
- o pH Meter
- o Analytical Balance
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and chemical handling.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Pay: ₹18,384.85 - ₹20,687.44 per month
