Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Enterprise Systems Engineer to provide day-to?day IT support and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure. The role includes end-user
support, computer hardware and software maintenance, network troubleshooting, CCTV
administration, asset management, and basic support for Microsoft 365, AWS, Git, and
other enterprise applications.
The selected candidate will undergo two months of training at the Bhubaneswar location
and will subsequently be required to relocate to Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-User IT Support
- Provide technical support to employees for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners,
and other IT equipment.
- Install and configure operating systems, business applications, antivirus software,
and required security tools.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, email, internet, VPN, and application?related issues.
- Provide remote and on-site technical assistance to employees.
- Record, track, and close support requests within the defined resolution timelines.
- Escalate critical or unresolved issues to the appropriate technical team.
2. Hardware and Asset Management
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers,
biometric devices, and other IT equipment.
- Perform hardware upgrades, component replacements, and preventive
maintenance.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of laptops, desktops, accessories, software
licences, and other IT assets.
- Manage the allocation, transfer, return, and secure disposal of IT assets.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs, replacements, warranty claims, and
procurement.
3. Network Support
- Provide support for LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, routers, switches,
firewalls, and access points.
- Perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, gateway, VPN, and connectivity-related
issues.
- Assist with network cabling, port identification, patch-panel management, and rack
organisation.
- Monitor network availability and escalate outages or security concerns.
- Maintain updated network diagrams and configuration records.
4. CCTV and Physical Security Systems
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and
related network connections.
- Verify camera availability, recording status, storage capacity, date and time
synchronisation, and backup retention.
- Assist with the installation and support of biometric attendance and access-control
systems.
- Provide authorised CCTV footage when formally requested and approved.
- Ensure that CCTV systems and recordings are accessible only to authorised
personnel.
- Coordinate with service providers for CCTV repairs and maintenance.
5. Microsoft 365 Support
- Provide basic administration and user support for Microsoft 365.
- Assist with user account creation, modification, blocking, and licence assignment.
- Support Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365
applications.
- Assist with password resets and Multi-Factor Authentication issues.
- Troubleshoot common email delivery, mailbox, application login, and
synchronisation issues.
- Escalate advanced Microsoft 365 security and administration issues when
necessary.
6. AWS Support
- Possess a basic understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS,
CloudWatch, VPC, and ECS.
- Assist with basic monitoring and first-level troubleshooting of AWS resources.
- Monitor alerts and report service availability or performance issues.
- Follow approved procedures when accessing or supporting cloud resources.
- Escalate cloud infrastructure and security incidents to the DevOps or DevSecOps
team.
- Maintain documentation of assigned AWS support activities.
7. Git and Development Support
- Possess basic knowledge of Git and source-code repositories.
- Assist users with Git installation, configuration, repository access, cloning, pulling,
and pushing changes.
- Support basic troubleshooting of authentication and access-related issues.
- Follow approved access-control and source-code security practices.
- Escalate repository, pipeline, or advanced Git issues to the development or DevOps
team.
8. IT Security and Compliance
- Follow the organisation’s Information Security, Acceptable Use, Access Control,
Data Protection, and IT Asset Management policies.
- Ensure that antivirus, endpoint protection, operating-system updates, and required
security applications are active on employee devices.
- Support employee onboarding, role changes, and offboarding activities.
- Promptly disable access and recover IT assets during employee separation.
- Report suspected phishing, malware, unauthorised access, data leakage, or other
security incidents.
- Maintain confidentiality of user data, passwords, system information, and CCTV
recordings.
- Avoid making production or security-related changes without proper approval.
9. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain records of support tickets, IT assets, network devices, system
configurations, warranties, and vendor details.
- Prepare and update technical procedures, troubleshooting guides, and IT support
documentation.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports of IT support activities.
- Document system changes, incidents, root causes, and corrective actions.
- Ensure that all administrative credentials and sensitive information are handled
securely.
Required Technical Skills
- Windows desktop and laptop administration.
- Computer hardware installation and troubleshooting.
- LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches, and basic firewall
concepts.
- CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, biometric devices, and access-control systems.
- Microsoft 365 applications and basic administration.
- Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Basic knowledge of Git and repository platforms.
- Remote-support and IT ticketing tools.
- Antivirus, endpoint-security, backup, and patch-management tools.
- Printers, scanners, projectors, conference-room equipment, and other office IT
devices.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
Experience
- Preferred Experience: 1–3 years in IT support, system administration, network
support, or a similar role.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
- Familiarity with firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and network-monitoring tools.
- Basic understanding of Linux and server administration.
- Experience with endpoint-management, DLP, antivirus, or asset-management
platforms.
- Basic knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and information-security practices.
- Familiarity with ITIL-based incident and change-management processes.
