Role Purpose
Define and drive next‑generation electrical distribution architectures leveraging DC systems, solid‑state technologies, and power conversion, addressing emerging applications such as Building of the Future and solar-enabled infrastructures.
Contribute to innovation, competency build-up, and business development through concrete demonstrators and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities

Architecture Definition

Develop DC and hybrid AC/DC distribution architectures

Integrate solid-state protection and power converters
-
Ensure system optimization (performance, cost, scalability, sustainability)

Technology & Roadmap
-
Build and drive roadmap on DC, solid-state, and conversion technologies

Lead exploration and pre-development activities
-
Monitor technology trends and standards evolution

Competency Development
-
Build expertise in DC systems, solid-state protection, and power electronics

Act as reference architect within International Engineering
-
Cross-Entity Collaboration
-
Work with:

DC System Company (Amsterdam)

Competency Center (Grenoble)

Contribute to shared architectures and platforms

Business & Market Interface

Collaborate with Business Development and Marketing

Translate market needs into technical solutions and value propositions

Innovation & Delivery

Lead PoC development, including:

BGRT office parking demonstrator (solar + DC + conversion)

Ensure scalable and replicable solutions

Customer Engagement

Engage key customers to explore new opportunities and validate use cases

Support Schneider positioning as thought leader in next-gen distribution

Experience

10+ years in electrical distribution, power electronics, or system architecture
