Position Summary
Learnet Skills Limited is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Industry Engagement Officer to strengthen relationships with employers and industry partners. The role will be responsible for creating employment opportunities for trained candidates, understanding evolving workforce requirements, and ensuring alignment between training programs and industry demand.
Experience Required-Minimum 5+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Corporate Relations, or Workforce Planning.
Educational Qualification-
MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Additional certifications in Talent Acquisition, HR Analytics, Corporate Relations, Skill Development, or Labour Laws will be an added advantage.
Key Roles & Responsibilities-
1.Industry Engagement & Relationship Management
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with companies across multiple sectors.
· Identify potential employers for placement, apprenticeship, internship, and hiring opportunities.
· Conduct regular meetings with HR professionals, Talent Acquisition teams, Plant Heads, Operations Managers, and Business Leaders.
· Generate new corporate partnerships for long-term hiring collaborations.
· Maintain continuous engagement with existing corporate clients to understand their workforce requirements.
2. Corporate Partnership Development
v Build strategic partnerships with industries for:
· Recruitment
· Apprenticeships
· Internships
· On-the-job training (OJT)
· Industrial visits
· Guest lectures
· CSR-funded skill development initiatives
· Negotiate mutually beneficial collaboration agreements.
Develop Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with industry partners.
3. Industry Mapping & Market Intelligence
· Conduct regular market research on employment trends.
· Identify emerging industries and sectors with hiring potential.
· Maintain an updated database of industries and hiring organizations.
· Monitor labour market trends and changing skill demands.
· Provide industry feedback to the training department for curriculum enhancement.
4. Candidate Employability Support
· Guide candidates regarding industry expectations.
· Conduct employability and career guidance sessions.
· Support interview preparation activities.
· Organize mock interviews with industry experts.
· Collect employer feedback to improve candidate readiness.
