About the Role
Chandigarh Children Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatrician to provide comprehensive medical care to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. The candidate will play a key role in managing OPD, IPD, newborn care, pediatric emergencies, and supporting the hospital's commitment to quality child healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily Pediatric OPD consultations.
- Manage admitted pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Attend pediatric and neonatal emergencies.
- Examine, diagnose, and treat children from birth to adolescence.
- Monitor growth, development, and vaccination schedules.
- Provide counseling and education to parents regarding child health and nutrition.
- Attend deliveries and provide newborn resuscitation when required.
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other specialists for patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and discharge summaries.
- Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DCH in Pediatrics.
- Valid Medical Council Registration.
- Experience in Pediatrics and Neonatal Care preferred.
- Strong communication and patient management skills.
- Ability to handle pediatric emergencies independently.
Working Hours
- 6 Days a Week
- As per hospital duty roster
- Emergency and on-call duties as required
