Job Summary
The Printing Machine Operator Assistant is responsible for assisting the Printing Machine Operator in the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing machines to ensure smooth production, quality output, and timely completion of printing jobs. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Printing Machine Operator in setting up and operating printing machines.
- Load paper, labels, films, or other printing materials into the machine.
- Prepare inks, plates, cylinders, or other printing materials as instructed.
- Monitor machine performance during production and report any abnormalities immediately.
- Ensure continuous supply of materials to avoid production interruptions.
- Help maintain print quality by checking color, alignment, and print clarity.
- Remove finished products and stack or pack them as per production requirements.
- Clean printing machines and surrounding work areas after each production run.
- Assist in routine machine maintenance and lubrication as directed.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain production records and assist in reporting machine output and downtime.
- Support the production team in achieving daily production targets.
- Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- SSLC/PUC/ITI or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of printing processes is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good attention to detail and quality standards.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Physical ability to stand for long hours and handle production materials.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and overtime when required.
Working Conditions
- Factory/Production floor environment.
- Requires standing for extended periods and handling printing materials.
- May involve shift work, weekend work, or overtime depending on production requirements.
Performance Expectations
- Ensure uninterrupted machine operation.
- Maintain production quality standards.
- Follow safety and company policies at all times.
- Support timely completion of production schedules.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
