We are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our managed school, The Summit School, Chikkamagaluru, to teach Grades 6–9 under the CBSE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication through interactive classroom activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and other learning resources.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centred classroom environment.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to enhance student learning outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- B.Ed. or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Grades 6–9 in a CBSE or reputed school is preferred.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
- Willingness to relocate to Chikkamagaluru.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
