Commis 1 & 2 (Hotel)
We are looking for Commis 1, an experienced junior chef who runs a specific station , while a Commis 2 is an intermediate assistant who handles basic prep and supports senior chefs. Together, they maintain station mise-en-place and uphold kitchen hygiene.
(Chef de Partie Assistant)
- Core Role: Act as the primary assistant to the Station Head (Chef de Partie) , capable of heavy daily production and stepping up in their absence.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to corporate or restaurant recipe standards.
- Manage par stocks , monitor section inventory, and assist with store deliveries.
- Train and guide newer kitchen staff or Commis 2/3 chefs .
- Inspect the freshness of food and check appliance temperatures .
- Requirements: 2+ years of commercial kitchen experience and a culinary diploma or certification.
Commis 2 (Mid-Level Cook)
- Core Role: Execute basic prep work (mise-en-place) and ensure the workstation remains clean and organized.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Follow senior chef instructions for food preparation (cutting, slicing, seasoning).
- Stock, restock, and clear items for buffets or a la carte service .
- Rotate stock using the FIFO system and pick up requisitions from the store .
- Wash and sanitize workstations, tools, and kitchen machinery.
- Requirements: 1 to 2 years of kitchen experience , a food handler's license, and basic food hygiene knowledge .
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
