JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Sales Trainer – Broadband Sales
Role Overview:
This is a Sales Training position responsible for training Airtel Sales Executives who sell Broadband Connections directly to household customers and SMEs. The role involves a combination of classroom training and on-the-job coaching to improve sales performance, product knowledge, and customer engagement skills.
Key Training Responsibilities
1. New Joiner Training
New Sales Executives will undergo:
5 Days of Classroom Training
20 Days of Buddying (On-the-Job Coaching)
2. Classroom Training (Online & Offline)
Product Training - Broadband product features, Internet speed plans, Pricing and package benefits
Process Training - Customer onboarding through the Airtel App, Sales process compliance and documentation
Sales Skills Training - Prospecting and lead generation, Customer probing techniques, Product benefit selling, Objection handling and closing techniques
How to Cultivate & Generate Reference.
Conducting umbrella activities
Upselling & Cross-Selling Increased numbers to family & friends.
3. On-the-Job Coaching (Buddying)
Assign and monitor buddies for new joiners.
Track buddying progress and provide field coaching.
Ensure practical application of classroom learning.
4. Refresher Training Programs
Conduct classroom and field coaching sessions for underperforming Sales Executives.
Identify performance gaps and provide targeted coaching.
Support sales teams in improving productivity and incentive earnings.
5. New Product & Process Training
Cascade information regarding new products, offers, and process changes.
Qualifications Skills Required:
Minimum 4+ years of sales experience.
Graduate in any discipline
Telecom industry experience preferred.
At least 1 year of experience as a Trainer, or Coach.
Strong communication skills in English and local vernacular language.
Excellent coaching, mentoring, and motivational abilities.
Good presentation and facilitation skills.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer applications.
Mandatory Requirements:
Must own a Laptop/Computer.
Must own a Two-Wheeler for field visits.
Laptop Configuration Requirement:
The candidate must have a laptop with the following minimum specifications:
Processor: Intel Core i5 (10th Generation or above)
RAM: 16 GB
Storage: 512 GB SSD
Certification & Boot Camp:
Selected candidates will be required to attend a 12- 15 days Boot Camp Certification Program before deployment.
Successful completion of the certification is mandatory.
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
