About the Role
We are looking for a responsible, energetic, and hands-on Event Operations Manager to manage and coordinate events such as weddings, engagements, funerals, receptions, and other functions.
This is a field-oriented management role that requires flexibility, leadership, coordination, and the ability to work according to the requirements of each event.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise the complete execution of events.
- Manage and guide event workers and coordinate their daily tasks.
- Ensure the event setup, decoration, arrangements, materials, and services are completed on time.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, workers, and other service providers.
- Visit event locations and supervise work before, during, and after the event.
- Handle unexpected situations and solve operational issues quickly.
- Ensure proper loading, transportation, setup, dismantling, and return of event materials.
- Support workers whenever required and actively participate in event-related work.
- Maintain discipline, teamwork, and quality standards among the staff.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and according to client requirements.
- Be available to stay at the event location overnight when the nature of the work requires it.
Working Hours & Nature of Work
This is not a fixed 9-to-5 office job. Working hours will depend on the event schedule and operational requirements.
During the busy/wedding season, the manager may need to work late nights or stay overnight at event locations to ensure the work is completed properly.
During the off-season, the workload will be significantly lighter, allowing sufficient time for rest, personal matters, and visiting home, especially for employees coming from distant locations.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be provided if required, particularly for candidates who are from outside the local area or need to stay near the event/work location.
