Job Summary
The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, taxation, budgeting, and internal controls. The role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, efficient cash flow management, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations while supporting business growth and decision-making.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting
- Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage General Ledger (GL), journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and cash flow.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CMA Inter.
- 5–8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries is preferred.
