Job Summary: The Urban Village is looking for a hardworking and reliable Houseman to support housekeeping operations and ensure cleanliness, organization, and smooth functioning of guest and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the housekeeping team in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Transport linen, towels, supplies, and housekeeping materials as required.
- Support room attendants and housekeeping staff in daily operations.
- Ensure public areas, corridors, banquet areas, and back-of-house areas remain clean and organized.
- Handle furniture movement, event setup assistance, and special cleaning tasks.
- Replenish housekeeping supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Report maintenance issues and damaged items to the concerned department.
- Follow safety, hygiene, and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of experience in housekeeping, hotels, banquets, or hospitality industry.
- Physically fit and able to perform lifting and moving tasks.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of housekeeping procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: As per experience and industry standards.
